Doug lived next door to me in Whispering Brook Trailer Park in the late 70's. I didn't know him so much from EFHS as much as for being my neighbor. (I probably was too shy to speak to him in high school...he was so CUTE!!!) He was such a sweet, handsome guy....great to be around, always with a smile. My then 4 year-old son thought Doug was the greatest!!! Every time Doug was outside, my son wanted to pester him in some way...Doug took it in stride. I will always remember Doug calling my son "Hot Dog". I was so sad when I learned Doug died in a motorcycle wreck.
