We sadly announce...

Sadly, we have just learned of the passing of yet another classmate, Donna Jean Vogler (Bullard), 69, of Kernersville, who passed away on Friday, October 30, 2020.  Donna's obituary may be accessed at the JC Green and Sons Funeral Home web site or on the Class of '69 "In Memory" page.  No additional informtion is available at this time.  Please keep the Vogler and Bullard families in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Steering Committee Postpones Planning for "Birthday Celebration"

The Class of '69 Steering Committee voted recently to postpone further planning for a "70th Birthday Celebration"  that had been tentatively scheduled for the fall of 2021.  This action was taken to avoid unnecessarily subjecting classmates to exposure to the COVID-19 virus and to avoid financial losses that would be incurred if an event were to be planned, scheduled,  and subsequently cancelled. However, the Committee may resume its planning at such time as the pandemic is brought under control, or when an effective COVID vaccine becomes widely available.

Input from classmates obtained from a survey that was made available on line from February 15 to April 15, 2020 will be maintained and utilized if planning resumes. Also, additional input will be sought from classmates if and when planning resumes again.

Be sure to check the Class of '69 Home Page regularly for updates to this announcement.
