Gracie was born on June 26, 1951, in Davidson County to the late Reid and Carolyn Smith Davis. She enjoyed a long and rewarding career in human resources with RJ Reynolds and Center Point. Outside of work, Gracie was passionate about cooking and cherished the time spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She also took great joy in arts and crafts with them. Gracie devoted many years as a caretaker for her parents before their passing, a role she embraced with love and devotion.
In addition to her parents, Gracie was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Russell Woody.
Gracie is survived by her two sons, Jason Woody (Stephanie) and Scott Woody (Kendra White); her sister, Ann; brothers Doug Davis and Wesley Davis; grandchildren Dalton, Scottie, Matthew, Clayton, Hannah, Haylee, and Harlee; and special friends Carol and Diane.

A gathering to celebrate Gracie’s life will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Burroughs Funeral Home.
