Connie Dwiggins Knowles, 58, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born January 24, 1951 in Forsyth Co. to Robert Franklin and Marie McCandless Dwiggins. Connie was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Dwiggins. Surviving are her husband, Wesley David Knowles of the home; her mother, Marie Dwiggins of Kernersville; two daughters, Amanda Dillon of Reidsville, Julie Carlton of Charleston, SC; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Tim Dwiggins of Kernersville, Joe Dwiggins of Pittsboro; one sister, Kay Swaim of Kernersville. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel, with the Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Gur Cemetery.
