October 21, 1950 March 11, 2018 Ann Mayhue, 67, of Boones Mill, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 11, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Nelson Jayne and Grace Davis Jayne. Ann is survived by her husband, Jerry Mayhue; son, Jason Mayhue and wife Lindsay; daughter Lisa Bivens and husband Larry; daughter Amber Mayhue and Micah Almond; grandchildren Aidan, Adison, and Logan. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ann Mayhue may be made to Ann Mayhue Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 468, Boones Mill, Va. 24065 with the proceeds going to the numerous charities that she supported. A Celebration of Life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Orchard Hills Church, 6032 Cloverdale Rd., Roanoke, Va. 24019. Arrangements by Burch-Messier Funeral Home, Bedford, Va..

I am sorry to hear of Ann’s passing. I have fond memories of sleepovers with her in grade school. She was a kind and gentle soul. I’m sure she will be missed by many.
