Garland Wayne (BoBo) Luck June 12, 1951 - July 21, 2015 Garland Wayne (BoBo) Luck, age 64, of Winston-Salem passed away on July 21, 2015. Wayne was born to the late Garland Kennie Luck and Ramona Grubbs Luck on June 12, 1951. He attended East Forsyth High School and Forsyth Community College. He was employed at R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company first in the Outside Greenleaf Department then the Central Distribution Center located at Whitaker Park, retiring after 38 years of service. Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Brenda Christine Lauten Luck, of the home, meeting when 15 years old; son, Kenneth Wayne Luck (Kennie) and wife Erin Gale Abernathy Luck, and one grandchild that he adored, Abigale Elizabeth Luck (Abbie). He is also survived by his sister Kathy Luck Odom and husband Tim Odom, a brother Randy Keith Luck and wife Tammy, his nieces Jessica Odom Slaydon, Amanda Luck Shore and Ashley Luck and his much loved friend, Penny Luck. Wayne had an extended family that he loved like brothers and sisters, John Hester Sr., June and Alvin Worrell, Ronnie and Barbara Lauten, Lynn Welch, Jonnie and Mitch Shore, Dwight and Paige Deal, and Kent Lauten, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. He was also especially close for many years with David and Kathy Vines. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife's parents, Vernon Lauten and Mary Jane Yokley Lauten, a sister-in-law, Betty Lauten Hester, brother-in-law Ray Welch and his beloved niece Terrie Lynn Worrell Sisk. Services are scheduled for Saturday, July 25th at 5:00 pm with visitation following at J. C. Green & Sons located at 10301 North NC Hwy 109 Winston Salem, NC 27107. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Cemetery Sunday. Wayne was a well-respected man, a dedicated husband, a loving father and Papaw. He worked hard and took care of his family, friends, extended family and his home. He will be missed.
