Mr. James Ronald “Ronnie” McKnight, 68, Passed away January 19, 2019 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born August 29, 1950 in Forsyth County to the late Joseph F. Mcknight and Mamie Reavis McKnight. Mr. Mcknight served his country in the U.S. Army. He retired from Forsyth County Schools/ East Forsyth High School with 20 ½ years of service. He was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Joy Mcknight. He is survived by his niece, Candace Eversole (Weston) and his nephew, Shane McKnight (Christy). He is also survived by his two great nephews, Tyler and Walker. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 1:45pm on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with the funeral service following at 2:00pm with the Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. Interment will follow the service at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. Memorials may be made to VFW Post 9010, PO BOX 601, Clemmons, NC 27012.
