You Will Be Interested in This!

The January, 2022, edition of Winston-Salem Monthly Magazine contains an article which features our classmate, David Teague, in a story entitled, Musical Memories: Versatiles Reflect on Band's 60s Heyday, by Eddie Huffman. You may or may not know that in the late 60s, David played trumpet in a Winston-Salem based soul band called "The Versatiles." The band recently held a reunion, and Huffman covered the event.  The photos for the article were provided by David.

Copyright regulations and logistical issues prevent us from posting the article here, however, once the online version of the magazine is posted, you will be able to access the article for yourself at Unless you are subscriber to the online edition of the W-S Journal, you will need to disable your pop-up blocker in order to view the article. Of course, those of you who live in the Winston-Salem area may be able to obtain a print version of the magazine at local outlets.

Congratulations, David!  Most of us have many pleasant "musical memories" of you.
