John was one of the nicest boys in our class. He was always so polite and a friend to everyone. I can still see his beautiful smile....always thought he was so handsome with those glasses! But then I have always had a thing for men with glasses!
I thought John was a sweetheart, too. He had such a great smile, and I, like Gayle, had a thing for boys with glasses. He was so smart and had such great potential. It was heartbreaking to hear of his death at such a young age.
John's passing was a shock, as well as a tremendous loss to our world. He was a special young man, with tremendous potential. I will always remember his smile and his kindness.
John and his family attended my church in Kernersville, so he was a classmate and church friend. His death was such a shock and a devastating tragedy. I always thought he had as much or more potential than anyone else in class. He would have made an impact on this world.
John was certainly a very distinguished gentleman with an infectious smile and lovely deep voice. To this day I haven't forgotten how friendly and congenial he was to everyone, and I'm still so sad we lost him to this tragic accident; the world needed you, John.
I agree with Rose on this, John was such a good person!!! Always cheerful and smiling!!!! Such a tragic loss of a great man to be to this living world. Who knows what he would have conqured or have been?
The summer after senior year I was dating John. We went to High Point public pool on swimming dates. My freshman year at ECU John and his roommates from NCSU paid a surprise visit to me. John had it all - highly intelligent, handsome and a kind heart.
I never knew John Blue, but we are at the age that things just happen. My family lost 2 family members this summer one very suddenly. Hug them and keep them close, you never know.
