This does really break my heart to know for sure that Theresa Bentley has passed away. I have gone to school with her since grade school(elementary) She always had a heart of gold and a wonderful smile. I remember when the bus was to pick her up at Hwy.150 (Kernersville Road) in front of Tommy Campbell's farm, she had to cross a wide open field and it had been raining the night before and the field was muddy. She was running late and we saw her coming and keep yelling come on Theresa, the bus was waiting for her and stayed until she got there on the bus. While she was running she slipped down and was covered in mud, but she kept on running and boared the bus covered in mud. We all on the bus loved her so much, we cleaned her up with tissues, and she went to her classes knowing that she was cleansed by her friends through the lick and spit body wash that only friends can do. I am sure thinking back on this event now , she would have rathered returned home for a real shower, but she received a frienship bath from friends. Theresa was not drop dead gorgious, nor had a great looking figure, or a cheer leader , or a majorite. What you saw is exactly what you got, and that is exactly a great human being with a heart filled with gold and loved each and every one as an equal. I wish and hope we all can learn from Theresa Bentley. Most of you guys may have never noticed her to start with, but she was one of our classmates and finished with us. To me she was a major and remarkable lady with a heart of gold. Pam Evans Idol

and hope we all can learn from Theresa

I love what Pam Evans Idol wrote....it is so true. Theresa was a beautiful person, where beauty really counts, in her heart. She was always smiling, and so, so very sweet and caring, which made her even more beautiful. I will always remember her wonderful smile and twinkling eyes.
