Steering Committee Announces 55th Reunion Venue Change !

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Steering Committee has been forced to change the location of our 55th year reunion to the Timberlake Room at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Greensboro Airport, located at 204 Centreport Drive (just off I-40, Exit 210 and Highway 68) in Greensboro. Fortunately, we were able to find a nice venue, so close to Kernersville, that could accommodate our reunion on our originally scheduled date of Saturday, September 21, 2024. As previously planned, a reception will be held beginning at 4:30 p.m. with a buffet dinner to follow at 6:00 p.m.

Contrary to previously published information, no alcoholic beverages may be brought into the venue from the outside. Beer, wine, and mixed drinks may be purchased from the bar using debit or credit card only, no cash.

Reunion Registration Now Available

We are now accepting registrations for the Class of '69 55th year reunion to be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the Timberlake Room  at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Greensboro Airport, located at 204 Centreport Drive in west Greensboro, NC, only ten miles from downtown Kernersville.

All the information necessary to successfully register for the reunion may be found by clicking on the "55th Reunion" link located along the left-hand side of the web site Home Page.  Be sure to include your name and the name of any guest you may choose to bring.  The cost to attend the reunion is only $20 per person which includes both the Reception from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. and the Buffet Dinner beginning at 6:00 p.m.

If you need lodging at the Embassy Suites, we have reserved a block of rooms for both September 20 and 21, 2024 at a rate of $149 plus tax per room per night. A link to book your room will soon be available on the "55th Reunion"  registration page.  Rooms will be available on a first come-first served basis until 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2024.  

If you had previously booked a room at the Hampton Inn Kernersville (located only ten miles away from the Embassy Suites)  we still have a block of rooms reserved there for September 20 and 21 at a rate of $119 plus tax per night per room.  You may choose to continue your reservation at the Hampton Inn Kernersville or cancel and rebook a room at the Embassy Suites. The cut-off date to book a room at the Hampton Inn Kernersville at the block rate is August 20, 2024. Instructions for booking a room at the Hampton Inn Kernersville are already available on the registration page.
