I was only there one year...our senior year! Although I was a little nervous, everyone made me feel so welcome...Well, maybe everyone except our chemistry teacher :-) (I eventually went on to become a chemistry lab supervisor for part of my career!) 1968-1969 was a great year! How could any of us forget the war, the fabulous music of that era!

Such great people in our class! I still remember watching Robert Cox and Sydney Wooten and the Laugh-in skit. ...Homecoming, the Eiffel Tower made of aluminum foil... Our Latin, English and Math Classes...And, my favorite class, chorus! I just loved singing Tenor! Ahhh....what wonderful memories!

I guess the funniest thing about me would be my BIG HAIR! My kids have looked at the year book over the year and given me such a hard time about my teased hair. Hey, I worked HARD to get it to look like that!

David Meehan and I married in July 2000, merging our families into one. At that time, our children ranged in ages from 25 down to 3 years old! It's been busy, but wonderful! David's practice is Meehan Medical in Clayton, NC www.meehanmedical.com . I left Bayer Healthcare (took the package) in 2003 after 29 1/2 great years and now work as a commercial real estate broker in Cary, primarily focusing on Medical and Dental practices.
Kids are all doing well! I'm Nana to Brandon and his wife's 4 1/2 year old and found out last week that they are expecting another!!
Life is good! Mom & Dad still live in Kernersville and I try to get up to see them often.

One note of interest....When I left Bayer, I started a women's networking group called the Wild, Wacky, Wonderful Women of the World. We have adopted the Women's Center of Wake County, serving Homeless and Impoverished Women and Children in Wake County. It's been a very rewarding experience. At this moment, we are planning our Fifth Annual Bachelor Bid for Charity to be held at the Raleigh City Center Marriott on February 28, 2009. Yes, we're auctioning off BACHELORS!
